Death Notice of Gordon Reaburn

Gord passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham, with his family by his side. Loving husband of 62 years to Maxine (Thedorf) Reaburn. Dear brother to Vernon. Proud father to daughters Barb (Mike) Batsford and Bonnie (Dave) Reaburn-Jones. Cherished grandfather to 5 grandchildren, Angie, Karen, Emma, Tristan and Lauren and to 5 great-grandchildren, Tana, Rory, Brodie, Elli and Ayla. Gord is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Gord was born in Saskatchewan, moving to Durham as a young boy. Predeceased by his parents Alfred Reaburn and Ada Emke and brothers Ken and Jim.
Gord was an active and dedicated member to our community through his work and commitment to volunteering. Gord volunteered in community sports, Durham town council, Royal Canadian Legion and The Grey and Simcoe Foresters.

A celebration of Gord's life will be held on Friday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the Durham Royal Canadian Legion. Royal Canadian Legion Durham Branch #308 will hold a service at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 6:15.

Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion #308 or the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
