Mel McDermid

Passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, July 6th, 2015. John Melville McDermid, of Hanover and formerly of Durham. Beloved husband of the late Adeline (nee Baxter). Loving father of Dawn and her husband Steve Fitzsimmons of Hanover and Jonathon McDermid of Durham. Fondly remembered by his grandsons Quintin, Liam and Lukas. Predeceased by his brother Wallace McDermid and his sister Evelyn Porter.

A celebration of Mel's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8th at 12 noon. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Presbyterian Church Celebration and Memorial Fund or the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
