Billy Eden

William "Billy" Thomas Eden of Durham passed away at London Health Science Centre on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 in his 48th year. Beloved son of Thomas and Florence (Robinson) Eden of Durham. Dear brother of Dan and Brenda Robinson, David Sr. and Bonnie Eden and Theresa and Phylip Parnell all of Durham. Loving uncle of David Jr., Phylip Jr, Theresa and Brendan. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Billy was a proud member of the Durham community and had a zest for life. He loved supporting community sports at the Durham arena and baseball diamonds. He was a huge fan of the London Knights and the Durham Thundercats. Billy devoted a lot of time to the Durham Dodgers baseball team and the Durham Thundercats WOAA Sr. A hockey team as equipment manager and trainer as well as the Durham Huskies OHA Senior hockey team.

A celebration of Billy's life will be held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham (West Grey) on Monday at 11 a.m. with visitation prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 a.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to The Diamond Project, Rockwood Terrace Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
