Barbara Thompson

Barbara passed away on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham in her 86th year. Beloved wife and best friend for 64 years of the late Robert James Thompson Sr. (2010). Loving mother of Rob and his wife Marilyn, of Durham, Charlene and her husband Jeffery Mountain of Dornoch, and mother-in-law of Paul Nelson, of Durham. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Proud aunt to four nephews and one niece. Predeceased by her cherished daughter Janine Nelson (2011) her parents Frank and Stella Illingworth, and her dear brother Fred Illingworth (2017) of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday, February 14th, from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Barbara's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 1 p.m., with visitation from 12-12:45 p.m. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.
