Death Notice of Mike (Mies) van den Oetelaar
Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010. Marinus Henricus van den Oetelaar, of Durham and formerly of Alexandria, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Hermine (Mien) van den Oetelaar. Loving father of Theodore van den Oetelaar, Frances and her husband Pat Quin, Eric van den Oetelaar, Bonnie and her husband Edward McDonald, and Sindy Lou and her husband Noel Leger.
Fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Missed by his best friend and partner Margaret van den Oetelaar. Survived by two brothers Theo of Lancaster and Yos of Holland and four sisters Antonia Den Otter of Glen Robertson, Reik Hellings of Holland Landing, Piet and Miet of Holland.
Predeceased by four brothers Tony, Martin, Casper, Hendricus and one sister Marte.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Martin de Tours Cemetery.
