Ron Wells

Ronald Thomas Wells, of Durham, passed away peacefully with family by his side at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Friday, May 10th, 2024 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Kay Wells (nee McGirr). Loving father of Jeff Wells, and Karen and her husband Danny Pagé. Cherished grandfather of John Wells and his wife Jordanna, A.J. Wells and his partner Maddy Tarlin, Gabrielle Pagé and Zachary Pagé and great-grandfather of Zennon, Zander and Lincoln. Dear brother of Leonard Wells and his wife Helen, Richard Wells and his wife Iris, Gladys and her husband Louie Foster, and Joyce Ziegler-Wells. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Jack McGirr and his wife Sharon. Predeceased by his parents John and Ada Wells and by his parents-in-law Allie and Glenna McGirr.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, May 13th from 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Ron’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment at Durham Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Knox United Church General Fund, Durham Food Bank, Foursquare Gospel Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
