Deanna MacLachlan

Deanna Jayne MacLachlan (Hopkins) of Durham passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the age of 59.
Beloved partner of John Iviney. Loving mother of Sheldon and Cassidy of Elmwood, Braedon and Orianna and Landon, all of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Axel and Bohdi.
Dear sister of Elaine Heer of Sundridge, Sharon and Dan Burke of Fergus, Barry and Brenda Weppler of Waterloo, Lyle Weppler of Kitchener and Lindsay and Nancy Weppler of Bayfield. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Alma Hopkins (Allensen, Weppler), brother Dennis Weppler and brother-in-law John Mayhew. Also predeceased by the father of her children Donald MacLachlan.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Durham Legion on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 1 p.m. followed by a come and go celebration of life from 2 – 4 p.m (casual attire preferred). A private family burial service will be held at Durham Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce (Chapman House) would be appreciated by the family.
