Gavin Ray

Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Saturday, May 15th, 2010. Gavin Alexander Ray, of RR#6 Markdale, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Vera Kathleen Vaughan (October 9, 2009). Loving father of Sandra Andrews and her husband John Dutcheson, Donna and her husband Dale Perkins, and Gayle and her husband Ron Early. Fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Alfred and Dorothy Vaughan, Ruth and Ron Schenk, Shirley and Murray MacDonald, Alex and Marie Vaughan, and Marjorie Vaughan. Predeceased by his son Gary Ray; his daughter Connie Jean Ray; his siblings Don and Elsie Ray, Bob Ray, Blanche and Charlie Moffatt, and Jackie Ray; his brothers-in-law Clarence Vaughan and John and Irene Vaughan; his sister-in-law Eva Reay.

A celebration of Gavin's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
