Elda Mountain

Elda Fay Mountain of Durham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Rockwood Terrace Long Term Care, Durham in her 101^st year.  Beloved wife of the late Lorne Mountain.  Loving mother and mother-in-law of Loretta and Kenneth Lyon (both predeceased), Louise Weppler of Durham (Donald predeceased), Lorraine and Jerry Krueger of Desboro, Vaden Mountain (predeceased as infant), Aaron Mountain (predeceased) and Arlene of Williamsburg, Lorna and Philip Schwartz of Durham, Lois Best of Clarksburg, Lorenda and Dale Emke of Elmwood, Lena Mountain of Durham, and Anthony and Melanie Mountain of Durham.  Elda is lovingly remembered by 32 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Odessa Mountain (predeceased), Nina Boyle (predeceased), Viona Wilson, Evelyn Allan and Joan Kreuger. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, on Monday, February 23^rd from 5 - 8 p.m.  A funeral service celebrating Elda’s life will be held at Hanover Missionary Church, 628 - 11th Street, Hanover on Tuesday, February 24^th at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Snow officiating.  Spring interment in Rocky Saugeen Cemetery.
