Bernice Player

Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Monday, May 24th, 2010. The former Winnifred Bernice Laidlaw Jacklin, of Durham and formerly of Tara, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Max Player. Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Larry Jack of Grieresville, Richard and his wife Gayle of Port Alberni, B.C., Cathryn and her husband Kris Kennedy of Durham, Carolyn and her husband Jim Nixon Jr. of Durham, and Jennifer and her husband Dave Ferguson of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Evelyn and the late Gordon Gillies of Meaford. Predeceased by her son John Douglas Player.

A celebration of Bernice's life will be held at the Trinity Anglican Church on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
