Death Notice of Murray Pegelo

Murray Ivan Pegelo passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of 33 years of the late Susan (nee Neufeld). Will be missed by his daughter Krissy; son-in-law Mark Stevens; grandsons Crosby and Maxwell; siblings: Alvin (Florence), Glenn (Velma), Delrene (Wayne Monk), Grant (Sandra), Keith, Arden (Sheila), Kevin (Jane), Brien (Bonnie), Ian (Joan), Richard (Willie), and Connie Stephens (John); mother-in-law Anna Neufeld; sisters-in-law: Herta (Emil), Edith (David), Kathe (Kon), Mary (Steve); brother-in-law Peter (Maria); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lenus and Patricia, father-in-law Peter, siblings Beverley, Bruce, James, and Robert.

Murray loved spending time with his family and friends, cheering on his Nascar drivers, motorbike rides, woodworking, enjoying his flower gardens and feeding his birds.

Cremation has taken place. Private family interment to follow where Murray will come to rest with his wife at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
