Isabel Edge

H. Isabel Edge, of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Dan Edge. Loving mother of Norleen and her husband Keith Hie, Judith and her husband Jerry Beausejour, and Dale Edge. Mother-in-law of Shirley Edge. Cherished grandmother of Leon Beausejour, Colin, Tristin and Cassandra Edge and great-grandmother of 4. Predeceased by her son Donald Edge, her daughter Donna Rands, her parents Spence and Margaret Hopkins, her sisters Mae (the late John) Maclean, Donelda (the late Bob) Hastie, Noreen (the late Mel) Barfoot, her brothers Carman Hopkins, Robert (the late Marlene) Hopkins, J.D. (the late Phyllis) Hopkins, Oren (the late Deanna) Hopkins and her son-in-law Jim Stephens.

A funeral service will be held at Durham Presbyterian Church on Monday, April 20th at 1 p.m. with visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.
