Death Notice of George Taylor

Passed away at Central Place Lodge, Owen Sound on Friday, June 25th, 2010. George Edward Taylor, formerly of Brampton and Durham, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Mortley). Loving father of Kay and her husband Dave Ewles of Sauble Beach, Beth and her husband Tony Zammit of Brampton, and Brian Taylor and his wife Dorte of Brampton. Predeceased by his father and mother Earl and Marion Taylor. Fondly remembered by his 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and his many nieces & nephews. Dear brother of Erla (Kesyl) Summers of Owen Sound, Noreen (the late John) Taylor of Peterborough, Marlene (Steven) Naveau of Owen Sound, Joanne Kelly of St. Thomas, and Stewart (Sharon) Taylor of London. Brother-in-law of Ruth (the late Norm) Lienau, the late Gwynneth Mortley, Myrt (Milt) Miller, Mary Faulkner, chosen brother Morris (Nora) Tschumi, Ken (Mary) Mortley, and Robert (Bette) Mortley. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all of the staff at Central Place Retirement Home, for all of the wonderful loving care provided to George, and for their strong support for each of us.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Durham Presbyterian Church, 205 Lambton Street East, Durham on Wednesday, June 30th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
