With heartfelt sadness we share the peaceful passing of Robert “Bob” Allan Ottewell with loving family by his side on Saturday, June 27, 2026. 

Beloved and devoted husband of 59 years to his soulmate Carol. 

Proud and loving father of Dale (Mandy), Darron (Jennifer), and the late Darcy (Tanya). Cherished Poppa and Grandpa of Braydon (Devyn), Bryce, Abigayle, Logan, Dalten, Shelby, Mackenna, Zoey and Korbon. Great-Grandpa of Blake and Hayden. Loving brother of Bonnie Dawn, Judy Jackson, Barb (Paul) McMullen, Joan (Neil) McIntyre, Shirley Ottewell (Kevin), Jackie (Dave) Brown, Ruth Irwin (Ronnie), Bill Ottewell, brother-in-law of Dorothy Ottewell, Linda Stoddart, Don Fisher, and Buddy Fisher. Predeceased by his brother Doug Ottewell and brothers-in-law Roy Dawn, Bob Jackson, Greg Irwin, Frank Stoddart, and Bob Fisher, and sister-in-law Nancy Fisher. 

He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and extended family. 

Cremation has taken place. To honor his wishes, a private family celebration of life will follow at a later date.
