Death Notice of Norma Collins

Norma Elizabeth Collins (nee Wyville), of Durham, passed away at Lanark Heights Long Term Care, Kitchener, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Colllins. Loved greatly by her grandchildren Michael and Matthew Aho. Mother of Brian Collins. Dear sister of Eunice Hudson, and Donald and Shirley Wyville, and sister-in-law of June Wyville. Predeceased by her daughter Kimberley and her late husband Dr. Lance Aho, her parents Arthur and Sarah Wyville, her brothers Stan and Wesley Wyville, and her brother-in-law John Hudson.

Norma was an employee at General Electric for 27 years and she retired to Durham. Art and Norma went south for the winter. She loved Bingo and was a Girl Guide leader. 

Cremation has taken place. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Durham on Saturday, July 11th at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains at Flesherton Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
