Gayle Trafford

Gayle Margaret Ilyene Trafford (nee Dickson), of Hanover, passed away surrounded by her family at the Hanover & District Hospital on Sunday, July 19th, 2026 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Les Trafford. Loving mother of Steve Trafford and his partner Chantale Bourque, Crystal Trafford, and Megan and her husband Chris Walker. Cherished Nanna of Violet, Camdyn, Mayci, Logan, and Allyna. Dear sister of Bryan Dickson and his wife Adele. Predeceased by her parents Carman and Velma Dickson and her parents-in-law Clarence and Edna Trafford.

Cremation will take place. In respect of Gayle’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Hanover Hitmen Jr., Wingham Minor Hockey, or West Grey Soccer Club would be appreciated.
