Diana Watts

Marguerita Diana Watts (nee Phelps), of Durham passed away at Waterloo Regional Health Network, Kitchener on Thursday, August 27th, 2026 in her 70th year. Born in Toronto, she raised her family in Guelph. Predeceased by her parents, Clifford Phelps and Diamantina Phelps.

Beloved wife of the late Geoff Watts. Loving mother of Sarah and husband Mike Hutchesson of Wasaga Beach ON, Geoff Watts and wife Allison of Vancouver BC, and Jacy Watts and wife Mary of Halfmoon Bay BC. Cherished grandmother of Evelyn, Vera, Gabriel and Bradley. She will be dearly missed by her current partner Barry Sanders.

Once her children were grown and had moved away, Diana moved to a farm in Mt Forest and then Durham, where she realized her dream of having a farm with horses, donkeys and chickens. She found her greatest joy tending to the land and her animals in this community.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, November 14th from 1 - 3 p.m., with memories being shared at 2 p.m.
