1927 - 2026
Donald H. Lovell died on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 at the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest. He was the son of Violet and Harry Lovell of Mount Forest.
He was married to Barbara Ann Cockburn in 1952 and is survived by his son Mark Arthur Lovell, daughter Dana Lee Moore (David), grandson Alexander Henry Moore, daughter-in-law Brenda Lovell, and sisters Cora Jamieson and Helen Ritchie. Predeceased by his son John David Lovell, his grandson Jonathan Leslie Moore, his daughter-in-law Kathy Diane Lovell, and his sisters Norma Mosher and Eyvonne “Bonnie” Lamont.
He held various positions in the food industry and was elected president of the Confectionary Manufacturer’s of Canada in 1975. He retired in 1980 to Egremont and was associated with the Co-operator’s for more than a decade.
Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
