Irva Murdock

Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Monday, August 30th, 2010. The former Irva Lenore Fizell, of RR#2 Priceville, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Earnest Murdock (1973). Loving mother of Glenn Murdock of Pittsburgh, U.S.A., Pauline Murdock of Edmonton, Alberta, and Sheila Murdock of St. Catharines. Grandmother of Kristin and Alicia Martin of St. Catharines. Survived by her sister Alice Schenk and her husband Garnet of Gravenhurst, two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Irva was a long time member of the Durham Agricultural Society, and a fair judge. She was a charter director of the Horticultural Society, a member of Knox Normanby Presbyterian Church, and a supporter of the Humane Society, Newmarket.

A celebration of Irva's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Humane Society or Knox Normanby Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
