John James McComb

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, April 11th, 2011. John James McComb, of Williamsford, at the age 86. Loving and devoted husband of Margaret (Hansen) for 63 years. Awesome father to John Wayne (Corinne), Deborah Laurette Hilsden (Clare), Roger Hans (Alison), and Merri Pamela Vermilyea (Greg). Devoted and loving grandpa to Ejaye (Amy) McComb, Adam McComb, Victoria (Alex) Lazok, Karla (Aaron) Lawson, Tyler (Suzanne) Hilsden, Regan McComb, Aaron McComb, Katum (Tami) Vermilyea, Chelsi (Tom) Bovingdon, and Eli Vermilyea. Special great-grandpa to 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Bud (Ann) McComb, and Herb (Pat) McComb. Brother-in-law of Mary and Romeo Heroux. Predeceased by his parents William and Rachel McComb, and his sister Laura Loney. Uncle John will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of John's life will be held at the Latona Presbyterian Church, Dornoch on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Shiloh Cemetery.
