Betty Peter

Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Saturday, May 7th, 2011. The former Betty Anne Tucker, of RR#3 Durham, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife for 50 years of William Peter. Loving mother of Todd and his wife Michelle of Woodbridge, and Chris and his wife Sarah of Mount Forest. Cherished grandmother of Connor, Madison, Bretton and Corbin. Sister-in-law of Robert Peter, Isabel (Darrell Dewar), Ruth Peter-Nielsen, and Jim (Cathy) Scott. Fondly remembered by her niece and her four nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Marguerite Scott and Helen Wood, her brother-in-law Jannich Nielsen and two nephews.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation (Oncology Unit), Grand River Hospital Foundation (Cancer Program) or Knox Normanby Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
