Ross Torry

Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 13th, 2011. Frederick Ross Torry, formerly of Kitchener, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Rowe). Loving father of Steve Torry and his wife Esther of Durham, and Marlene Torry of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Adam Torry. Ross was a former Captain of the Leaside Fire department and went onto work as a Fire Prevention Officer in the Insurance industry until his retirement. His love of life and his love for the Saugeen Country brought him to this area throughout his working life for weekend camping and later his retirement years were spent here making new friends and many memories.

Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment at Durham Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
