Jim Renton

Passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, August 11th, 2011. James Orville Renton, of RR#2 Holstein, in his 68th year. Jim was a longtime employee of Northern Telecom - Bramalea Plant. Beloved husband for 47 years of Marie Renton (nee Hill). Loving father of Lisa Marie and her husband Jay Hodder of RR#4 Durham. Cherished grandfather of Tyler and Jenna. Dear brother of Bob Renton and his wife Eileen, Ann and her husband Howard Robinson, George Renton and his wife Audrey, Rodger Renton and his wife Mary Lynn, Emily Mooney and the late Ivan Wonch, Bill Renton and his friend Girdy, Doug Renton and his wife Gily, and Eleanor and her husband Neil Lyon. Brother-in-law of Betty and Fred Peters, the late Joan Clark and Bill Clark, Annette and Pat Morrissey, Gail and Manley Coburn, Bill Hill, Marlene Hill and her friend Alan Kellie, the late Brian Hill and his wife Marion Hill, and Wendy and Glenn MacDonald. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Amos Dromore Presbyterian Church on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Amos Cemetery. Amos Presbyterian Church is located on Southgate Sideroad 22 just west of County Road 23 (between Southgate Sideroad 49 and County Road 23).
