Death Notice of William Melville (Bill) Watson

It is with sadness we announce the death of Bill on Sunday, August 21, 2011, aged 69 years. Loving husband for 47 years to Jean Byers. Dear father of Stephen (Liping Xie) and Shawn. Predeceased by his dear daughter Mary Lyn. Poppa to Alina and Peter Watson. He is survived by his sister Marilyn Ellis, brothers Larry (Nancy) and Ken (Cathy), brother-in-law Les Byers (Virginia), sisters-in-law Joyce Keeling (Murray), Tyna Watson and his many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Melville and Elizabeth Watson, brother Beverly, sister-in-law Eileen Watson and brother-in-law Milton Ellis. Special thanks to Dr. Sabloff, Carol and Annie, the Medical Daycare family and the Hematology team at the General Hospital; our many friends, BMO Nesbitt Burns colleagues and the Bells Corners United Church family for their care and support during his illness.

A memorial service will be held at Bells Corners United Church, 3955 Richmond Road, Nepean on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains will be held at the Durham Cemetery at a later date.
