Death Notice of Jessie Taylor

Passed away at Summit Place, Owen Sound on Thursday, November 10th, 2011. The former Jessie Margaret Mortley , formerly of Brampton and Durham, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late George Taylor. Loving mother of Kay and her husband Dave Ewles of Sauble Beach, Beth and her husband Tony Zammit of Brampton, and Brian Taylor and his wife Dorte of Brampton. Predeceased by her father and mother Robert and Jessie Mortley. Fondly remembered by her 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruth (the late Norm) Lienau, the late Gwynneth Mortley, Myrt (Milt) Miller, Mary Faulkner, chosen brother Morris (Nora) Tschumi, Ken (Mary) Mortley, and Robert (Bette) Mortley. Sister-in-law of Erla (Kesil) Summers of Owen Sound, Noreen (the late John) Taylor of Peterborough, Marlene (Steven) Naveau of Owen Sound, Joanne Kelly of St. Thomas, and Stewart (Sharon) Taylor of Owen Sound. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all of the staff at Central Place and most recently Summit Place, for all of the wonderful loving care provided to Jessie, and for their strong support for each of us.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Durham Presbyterian Church, 205 Lambton Street East, Durham on Monday, November 14th at 11 o'clock in the morning. Interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
