Janine Nelson

Passed away on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham. The former Barbara "Janine" Thompson, of Durham, in her 55th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Paul Nelson. Loving mother of Corey Nelson of Durham and Jana Nelson of Hanover. Cherished grandmother of Dawson Wilson, Alexis, Brooklyn and Carter Nelson. Beloved daughter of Barbara and the late Robert Thompson Sr. Dear sister of Rob Thompson and his wife Marilyn of Durham, and Charlene and her husband Jeffrey Mountain of Dornoch. Daughter-in-law of Noreen Nelson and the late Paul Nelson Sr.. Sister-in-law of Bob Nelson, Ken Nelson and his wife Cheryl, and Mary and her husband Ross Watson. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Niece of Fred Illingworth of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

A celebration of Janine's life will be held at Durham Legion on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Spring Interment at Durham Cemetery.
