Jack La Rose

Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Friday, May 18th, 2012. John Emerson "Jack" La Rose, of Durham and formerly of Inglewood, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Perry. Dear father of Ruth and her husband Keith Allen of Stoney Lake. Remembered by his grandchildren: Brenda Allen, Charles (Brenda) La Rose, David (Rose) La Rose, Paul (Brenda) La Rose and his many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Mark Allen, his son Murray La Rose, and his brother Lloyd La Rose. Jack was a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge and was a recipient of the William Mercer Wilson medal.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South, Bolton, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Medical Clinic or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
