Wim Meerstra

With her family by her side, Wim passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, April 28th, 2013. Willemke "Wim" Meerstra (nee Jepma), of Durham, was in her 84th year. Beloved wife for 62 years of Art Meerstra. Dear mother of Bill Meerstra and his wife Sheila of Durham, Chris and her husband Jan DeJager of Georgetown, John Meerstra and his wife Joyce of Papua New Guinea, Walter Meerstra and his wife Janet of Whitby. Mother-in-law of Bill Caram of Niagara Falls. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers George Jepma and his wife Donna of Whitby, and Bill Jepma and his wife Joanne of Fenlon Falls. Predeceased by her daughter Jackie Caram and her brother Klaas Jepma.

A celebration of Wim's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
