Bert Vandendriessche

Passed away at his home on Monday, October 7th, 2013. Albert Theadore Vandendriessche, of Hanover and formerly of Aylmer, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Dean. Loving father of Sharon Martindale-Jackson and her husband Roy Jackson, Al Vandendriessche and his wife Annette, Robert Vandendriessche and his wife Sandi, and April Small and her husband Wayne. Cherished grandfather of Liska (Dave), Jonathon (Beth), Aaron, Shane and Devon. Great-grandfather of Robert, Danika, Emmitt, Selenna and Keynan. Fondly remembered by his step-children Terry Kirkpatrick, Karen Von Pickartz and her husband Gerrie, and Rick Dean and his wife Cindy and their families. Dear brother of Ben Vandendriessche. Sadly missed by Louise Davidge and many dear friends. Predeceased by his grandson Matthew Martindale, his brothers Roger and Joseph Vandendriessche and his sisters Ramona and Joanna. donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A celebration of Bert's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. A graveside and committal service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery on Tuesday, October 15th at 1 o'clock.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
