Shirley Ernest

Passed away at her home on Saturday, June 14th, 2014. Margaret Shirley Louise Ernest (nee Ryan), of RR#3 Durham, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Ernest. Loving mother ofAnn and Al McKenzie of Monkton, John and Laura Ernest of Gorrie, Wayne and Bonnie Ernest of Listowel, Chris Ernest and partner Ron Switzer of Listowel, Sharon and Larry Searth of Hesson, David and Dianna Ernest of Durham, Daniel Ernest of Williamsford. Lovingly remembered by her 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Mother-in-law of Shally Ernest of Monkton. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (Attwood) Ryan, her sister Debbie Foxton, her brother John Ryan, her parents-in-law Harold and Christina Ernest, and her brother-in-law Donald Ernest.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Durham and Community Health Care Foundation (Durham Hospital) and St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
