Joan Hannah

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, February 15th, 2016. Sydney Joan (nee Shergold) Hannah, of Hanover and formerly of Durham, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Terence Hannah. Loving mother of Janet Milks of Hanover, Lee Temple (Ralph Reeves) of Mount Forest, Jim Cuming (Kathy) of Orangeville, and Susan Cuming (Tim Hayward) of Erin. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Stepmother of Terry Hannah (Line) and Martha Mavis (Donald Rowe). Dear aunt of Debbie Shergold of Trail, BC. Predeceased by 3 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 stepsons and 1 stepdaughter.

Cremation has taken place and in respect of Joan's wishes a private service will be held.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
