Passed away suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on Friday, June 10th, 2016. Colin Dane Benson, of Durham, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Eleanor Johnston. Loving father of Tracey and her husband Dave Macoretta of Ridgeway and Miranda Lavallee of Nelson, B.C. Cherished grandfather of Cole and Abbi. Dear brother of Bob Benson and his wife Valerie of Brampton, Laura and her husband Gary Berard of St. Catharines and Connie Benson of St. Catharines. Fondly remembered by Eleanor's children and grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Larry and Laura Benson, his stepmother Arveda Benson and his uncles Chuck, Bob and George Clemens.

A celebration of Colin's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
