Death Notice of James Fraser

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of James Douglas (Jim) Fraser on Friday, January 27th in his 81st year. Beloved husband and best friend to Donna (nee Burbidge) for 57 years. Loving father to Bradley and Heather Fraser, Milton; LeeAnne and John Bell, Durham; Dawn Marie and Dean Manderson, Little Britain. Jim leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Mary Lou and Joe Leach, Kingsville; Betty June and R.J. Stewart (deceased), Bolton and brother Jack Fraser and Sue Ferri, Thornbury. Sister-in-Law to Diane McLain of Michigan. Born in Huttonville, Ontario son of the late J.M and Bessie Fraser of Spring Farms. In his 81 years, Jim travelled the world extensively and had many accomplishments. He graduated from University of Guelph in 1956 and encouraged his grandchildren to pursue higher education. Jim was actively involved in 4H, Junior Farmers, the Royal, CNE, Rotary club, curling, golfing, hunting, fishing, and piloted "The Hayseed" for many years. His gentle nature and enjoyment of a good story or debate will be forever missed.

Friends are invited to celebrate Jim's life on Sunday February 5th at the Lionhead Golf Course and Country Club, Brampton at 11:30 am.
