Fritz Stutzki

Stutzki, Fritz Georg--Fritz Stutzki of Durham, passed away peacefully at home on the farm in West Grey (formerly Glenelg) on Sunday February 19, 2017. He was about to turn 89. Fritz, pre-deceased by his wife of 65 years Hildegard, was a loving father to Ulrike Alvo (née Stutzki) (Jack) of Toronto, Sabine Beuthe (née Stutzki) (Thomas) of Deep River, Vincent (Heather) of Paisley and Annette. Deeply loved Opa to grandchildren Sarah, Frances and Stephen Alvo of Toronto; Tatjana and Callisto Beuthe of Deep River; and Trevor, Erich, Brendan and Micaela Stutzki of Paisley. He was so proud to be great-Opa to Fraser, son of Erich and Caitlin. Survived by sister-in-law Ursula of Germany, nephew Christian Stutzki (Heidi) of Milwaukee, niece Irene Stutzki of Germany and sisters-in-law Carla Opitz and Lotti Timmermann of Germany. Pre-deceased by brothers Ludwig and Heinrich and sister-in-law Anni Timmermann. We are all very grateful for the love and support of Chris Rust who did so much to help our Opa stay at home until the end, just as he wished.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

A funeral service and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life is planned and will be announced.
