Death Notice of Barry Nixon
Barry Wilfred Nixon of Richmond Hill, formerly of Durham, passed away at MacKenzie Health, Richmond Hill on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in his 68th year. Dear father of Jillian Nixon and her husband Mark Currie of Niagara Falls. Loving grandfather of Avery and Kennedy Currie. Also survived by his sister-in-law Brenda Nixon of Burks Falls and his niece Davette Nixon and her husband Todd. Barry will be remembered by his many friends and relatives. Predeceased by his parents William and Doreen Nixon and brother Bryan Nixon.
A graveside service will be held at the Durham Cemetery on Thursday, June 29th at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Durham Legion.
As expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
