Bill Rowntree

William "Bill" Chester Rowntree, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Harrison). Loving father of Bill Rowntree and his wife Bonnie, Mark Rowntree and his wife Leanne, and Eleanor and her husband Bob Mills. Cherished grandfather of Mikayla, Nadia, Jeremy and his wife Amanda, and Shawna. Dear brother of Marion Russell and Suzanne and her husband Michael Artichuck. Brother-in-law of Roy and Lil Harrison, Ron and Doreen Harrison, and Judy Harrison. Predeceased by his granddaughter Laurel, his sister Mary Rowntree and his brothers-in-law Frank Russell and John Harrison.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Hanover Masonic Lodge, 33133 Grey Road 28, Hanover, on Sunday, June 1st from 1-4 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
