Death Notice of Mary Ritchie
Mary Elizabeth Ritchie (nee Porter), of Georgetown, passed away at Extendicare Halton Hills, Georgetown, on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Donald Ritchie of Georgetown. Loving Mother of Donna and her husband Dean Fantin of Mississauga, Steven Ritchie and his wife Cheryl of Surrey, British Columbia, and Karen and her husband Daniel Hipson of Georgetown. Cherished grandmother of Derek Fantin (Stephanie Lianzakis), Jeremy Fantin (Stephanie Larose), Nathaniel Hipson, Ava Hipson and Nolin Hipson. Dear sister of Bill Porter (Judy Alles). Predeceased by daughter Susan Ritchie, brother Robert Porter, parents Prosper and Maggie Porter, parents-in-law Howard and Margaret Ritchie and brother-in-law Cameron Ritchie.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, June 2nd at 2 p.m. Interment at Zion Glenelg Community Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
