Grace Arnett

Grace Marie Arnett (nee Vollett), of Durham, passed away at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Arnett. Loving mother of Dave Arnett and his wife Lorraine, Mary Ellen Thorne, Cheryl and her husband Don Hoffman, and Joan and her husband Gary McNabb. Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Leonard Vollett and his wife Lorna. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Velma Newell-Kitney and her brother Wilmer Vollett.

A funeral service celebrating Grace's life will be held at the Trinity Anglican Church, 193 Chester Street East, Durham on Wednesday, November 20th at 1 p.m., with visitation being held at the church prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Spring interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
