Melvin Schope

Passed away suddenly at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Saturday, February 28th, 2009. Melvin Robert Schope, of RR#3 Durham, in his 73rd year. Loving husband of the former Marlene Newman. Cherished brother of Emma Robertson, Rube Woodruff, Mary Barber, John and June Schope, and Fred and Marie Schope. Predeceased by his brothers Clarence and Ken Schope. He will be fondly remembered by the Newman family, his nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Melvin's Life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Cemetery or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #308, would be appreciated by the family.
