Jean Hooey

Jean Emiley Hooey (nee Atkinson), of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Hooey. Loving mother of Brenda and her husband Fred Doherty, Catherine and her husband Jack Small, Carol and her husband Bob Truax, Brian Hooey and his friend Karen, and Peter Hooey and his wife Kym. Cherished grandmother of Jamie (Christy), Jana (Steve), Jacqueline (Andy), Derek (Gillian), April, Mike (Leanne), and Emily. Fondly remembered by her 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Eunice Bluhm, Mary Duggan, Charlie Atkinson, Florence Miske, Harold Atkinson, Helen Miske, and Don Atkinson.

A private funeral service will be held. Friends and extended family are welcome to view the service via livestream on Friday at 1 p.m. by visiting the home page of McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website (mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) or the McCulloch-Watson Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mccullochwatson/). The livestream will begin at service time and the video will remain posted for viewing afterwards. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
