Laverne McKenzie

Passed away suddenly on Friday, March 20th, 2009. Francis Jack Laverne McKenzie, of Durham and formerly of Harriston, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the former Margaret Fritz.

Loving father of Robert McKenzie and his wife Laurie of Arthur and the late Heather McKenzie. Cherished grandfather of Troy Heffernan and Marcia Dyce, Shane McKenzie and Dean McKenzie. Great-grandfather of Tegan and Avery Heffernan. Survived by his sister Joyce Braida.

A Celebration of Laverne's Life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Spring Interment will be held at the Harriston Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Lung Association, the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Community Care Access Centre would be appreciated by the family.
