John McVey

Passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 29th, 2009. John Michael Auden McVey, of Toronto, in his 51st year. Beloved son of Elizabeth Hines of Durham, and the late Ian McVey and beloved stepson of Dr. Rodger Hines. Loving brother of David McVey and his wife Heather Perkins-McVey of Ottawa, Peter McVey and his wife Leanne MacMillan of Halifax, Andrew McVey and his wife Anne of Brookfield, Conneticut, and Geoffrey McVey of Oxford, Ohio. Nephew of Joan Auden and her husband Ed Cuylits of Ottawa and Nancy and Bart VanNooten of Thunder Bay. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and members of the Hines family.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, on Wednesday, April 1st from 1 - 2 p.m., where a private family Celebration of John's Life will be held. Cremation has taken place.
