God called Ina in Windsor on December 3rd, 2008 and offered her eternal rest. Ina was the former Ina McKelvey, of Elderslie Township.

Ina was in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years David Rahn (1992). Both Ina and Dave had many roots in the Grey Bruce area and much of their family still make their home in Grey Bruce. While residents of Durham they attended the Knox United Church.

She is survived by a sister Eva McKelvey of Paisley, and 3 children Lynda Wittowski and husband Lloyd of Terrace, B.C.; David Rahn of Paisley; and Phyllis Vaseleniuck and husband Ivan of Brownsboro, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Karyn and Scott Anderson of Windsor; David, Daniel, Grace and Annie Wittkowski of Terrace, B.C.; Farron Rahn and wife Jana of Port Elgin; and Jason Rahn and wife April of Paisley.

Ina is also survived by Marjorie Macdonald and husband Ken, and Audrey Marshall daughters of Ina's sister Mary Wolfe of Durham, and Myra Seymour of Vancouver, B.C. daughter of Ina's sister Irene. She will be missed by 7 great grandchildren: Austyn and
Lydon of Windsor, Emilie and Joseph of Terrace, B.C., Braydon and Amy of
Port Elgin; and Sadie of Paisley.

We who are remaining will treasure the memories of a beloved Mom and a wonderful Grand Mom. God gave us memories so we could have Roses in December. Ina was our Rose in December.

A memorial service will held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, April 17th at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. We, who are remaining will greatly appreciate those who knew Ina to come by and share personal memories with us. Interment of cremated remains will be held at the Durham Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
