In Durham Hospital Tuesday December 2, 2014. Gwen (nee Long) of Durham age 55 years. Loved daughter of Jean of Durham and the late Robert Long. Beloved wife and best friend of Mike. Loving and devoted mother of Chris Doherty of Durham, Scott (Melissa McCulloch) Doherty of Durham and Nicole Doherty of Hamilton. Dear sister of Joanne (Dennis) Hines of Durham, Bill Long of Hanover and the late Robert Long. Gwen will be sadly missed by her granddaughter Peyton Doherty, nephew Andrew, nieces Brandy, Amy and Amanda and sister-in-law Diane Long. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett-McEachern Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Durham Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
