With his family by his side at Rockwood Terrace Nursing Home, Durham on Thursday, December 17, 2015 of Durham in his 100th year. Loving and devoted husband of Marie Hopkins for 71 years. Dear father of Thomas(Dawna), Shirley all of Durham, Donna(George) Sheehy of Harriston, and Rhonda(Roger) Schram of Clarksburg. Loved and remembered by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. George will be missed by extended family, many friends and the staff at Rockwood Terrace.
