KEARNS; Norman Albert WWII 48th Highlanders Regim.


Peacefully at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on May 19, 2016 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Eleanor. Loving father of Arlene(Jim) Purdie of Kitchener, Patricia(Wally) Vince of Sharon and step father of Donnie(Kathleen) MacKinnon of Oshawa, and Katherine(Brian Foster) Small of Toronto.  He is fondly remembered by grandchildren Sandra, Shelley, Scott, Rob, Mary, John, Cassondra, Alesia, Jessie and Cameron, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great-granchild. Norman will be greatly missed by brother Paul Kearns. Predeceased by siblings Chuck Kearns and Beth Ransome.
