Marion Stanton

Marion Viola Stanton (nee Cline), of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Friday, April 15th, 2022 in her 106th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Coutts (1951) and the late Richard Stanton (2009). Loving mother of Blair Coutts and his wife Patricia. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by 5 brothers, 5 sisters and 1 adopted sister. 

Cremation. A memorial service celebrating Marion’s life will be held at McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, April 30th at 12 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11 – 11:45 a.m. Masks are recommended and we encourage you to confirm your attendance by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website or by calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837. 

A recording of the service will be available for viewing on Monday, May 2nd at 10 a.m. 

Private interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Durham Cemetery.
