Death Notice of Paul Edward Huber

1953 – 2022

Paul passed unexpectedly on September 1st, 2022, in his 70th year.

He will be greatly missed by his brothers and their spouses; Brian (Sharon), Russell (Lynda), Randy (Debby), Michael, and Brad (Gabriele). His nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephew will feel the loss of their dear Uncle Paul. Paul was a lovable guy who will be missed by many including long-time friends Rob and Leita Gastel.

Predeceased by his parents Ruth (Dedman) and Leo Huber.

Paul grew up on the family dairy farm outside of Plattsville before attending Seneca College and Wilfrid Laurier University. He spent his entire working career at University of Guelph in Pathobiology and also volunteered for the aquaculture lab.

His last five years were spent living his retirement dream in Ayton. Thank you, Bob and Sheila Patterson, for being good friends and neighbours.

Paul was an avid angler and fished the many rivers and streams of Grey Bruce. Once trout season opened at the end of April, Paul would be fishing and having the time of his life with his long-time fishing buddies, Bob and Larry Watson.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Paul’s life will happen at some time in the future. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice or just cast a line in the water in Paul’s memory.  Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
