Death Notice of Vera Ray
Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Friday, October 9th, 2009. The former Vera Kathleen Vaughan, of RR#6 Markdale, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Gavin Ray. Loving mother of Sandra Andrews and her husband John Dutcheson, Donna and her husband Dale Perkins, and Gayle and her husband Ron Early. Fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alfred and Dorothy Vaughan, Ruth and Ron Schenk, Shirley and Murray MacDonald and Alex and Marie Vaughan; sister-in-law of Marjorie Vaughan. Predeceased by her son Gary Ray; her daughter Connie Jean Ray; her brothers, Clarence Vaughan and John Vaughan; and her sister Eva Reay.
A Celebration of Vera's Life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Country Lane Nursing Home or Dornoch Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
