Jim E. James

Jim Edward James, of Durham and formerly of Halton Hills, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 in his 86th year. Loving father of Debbie and her husband Dave Tucker, Ted James and his wife Christina, Greg James, and Donna James. Cherished grandfather of Chad Tucker and his wife Kristina, Cory Tucker and his wife Alanna, Shannon and her husband Jamie Varley, Zach James, Amber James and her partner Alan, and Cassidy James. Great-grandfather of Liam, Paisley, Aubrey, Mason, Avery, and Madi. Dear brother of Irene Pengelly, Doug James and his wife Marilyn, Vicki and her husband Karl Braeker, Joyce and her husband Gary Goodenough, the late David James and his wife Marie, and Peter James and his wife Virginia. Also remembered by his lifelong friend, Earl Burt, and by the children's mother, Okal James.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Georgetown Hunters and Anglers Hunt Club, 5002 8^th Line (a little north of Silver Creek), Wellington on Saturday, July 8^th, 2023.  Please join the family starting at 1 p.m., with memories being shared at 2 p.m. and a meal to follow.
